STEP 1:
Uninstall current Java(TM) installed.
To uninstall Java from your system, use the Add/Remove Programs utility in the Microsoft Windows Control Panel.
1. Click Start
2. Select Settings
3. Select Control Panel
4. Double click the Add/Remove Programs control panel icon
5. The Add/Remove control panel displays a list of software on your system, including any Java software products that are on your computer.
FIND ALL Java(TM) that you will see, click on it and then click the Remove button. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE LIST AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU
HAVE ALREADY REMOVED ALL JAVA.
STEP 2:
CLICK HERE to download Java 6 Update 13.
STEP 3:
Run the downloaded file to install Java. After java installation, proceed to Step 4.
STEP 4:
Disable Java Auto-update.
1. Go back to the Control Panel.
2. Find the Java icon and double-click on it to open.
3. On the window that pops up click on the Update tab.
4. Make sure the box labeled Check for Updates Automatically is unchecked.
5. Click ok to apply the change and close the window.
STEP 5:
Try to log onto ACM again.
